Requirements for Parents

Although most Christian schools would agree on certain fundamentals, it is imperative that parents scrutinize the foundational beliefs of any school in which they may enroll their child(ren).  Please refer to the HRCA Organization Handbook.

HRCA is a convenant school in which corporation membership requires at least one parent to be a professing Christian, as outlined by the Statement of Faith on the Corporation application.  Corporation membership is a pre-requisite to enrollment in the school.

The parents must be willing to cooperate with all written policies of HRCA.  This is important in the areas of discipline, uniform code, schoolwork standards, and communication with respective teachers and staff.

Many factors are considered and weighed when determining grade placement and teacher assignment.  Our goal is to determine the best possible fit for each child.  While parental input is important, because there are many factors involved in the decision making process, HRCA administration reserves the right to place each child at our discretion.  Input regarding the needs of the child is welcome.  For communication purposes, it is best to provide this in writing.

Parents are required to observe the class of the grade(s) their child(ren) will be entering.  Exceptions can be made only when proximity (family is long-distance and relocating) is a factor or school is no longer in session.

Enrollment, and therefore the parents’ financial obligation, is contracted to be for the full school year.
