Celebrating 10 years of providing a classical and Christian education in Chatham County, North Carolina!

Haw River Christian Academy’s story resembles those of many other schools.  Here’s a video produced by the Association of Classical Christian Schools that captures the essence of what drives us to do what we do.

‘The classical Christian system of educating children nurtured Christendom for nearly 2000 years.  And then, we forgot about it.  When we abandoned the “cultivation” of our youth, we set in motion the harvest.  We see that harvest in American culture today.  In the past 30 years, hope has returned as we cultivate a new field– the next generation.  Over 40,000 students are trained in classical Christian schools today.’  – www.classicalchristian.org

Deuteronomy 6 informs parents that, in all they do, they should provide a godly education all day, everyday.  There are three key institutions that shape a child:  home, church and school.  We believe that children are served best when all three institutions point them in the same direction.
