Each year, HRCA partners with Rise Against Hunger to pack meals for the hungry. We dedicate a whole day for each class (JK – 12th grade) to participate in the full-scale production of packaging meals. We have historically packed over 17,000 meals to help the food-deprived worldwide. HRCA raises money for the food and shipping costs and Rise Against Hunger will supply the ingredients and packaging materials for the students to pack the meals. The school also plans many fun, highly anticipated individual, classroom, and school-wide incentives for the weeks leading up to the main event.

The school funds we raise go towards the Annual Fund which supports the school’s operating budget to provide the materials needed for the education of all students.  Your gift is tax-deductible. 

This is a wonderful event that helps to teach the students of HRCA compassion in action, showing them the power of serving others and how their hands can make a real difference in meeting the needs of the hungry.
