We are a joyful, Christ-centered community, excited about the Lord, His creation, and the unique callings He gives to each of us. We equip graduates with the knowledge and tools to become faith-filled, God-honoring lifelong learners who serve their communities, churches, and the world, advancing the Kingdom for generation

OUR HISTORY
HRCA is a local “home-grown” venture started by dedicated families here in Pittsboro who wanted to create a Classical Christian school for Chatham County.Â
For over 15 years, we have stayed true to the mission to develop for the students of Pittsboro and the surrounding areas an education alternative that is thoroughly Christ-centered and classical in its approach.
OUR FUTURE
As Chatham County undergoes rapid and sustained growth, Haw River Christian Academy is proactively preparing to meet the educational demands of its expanding community.
Through the generosity of Pittsboro Baptist Church and their shared commitment to the importance of making Christ known in Chatham County, HRCA has secured 14 acres of picturesque land just two miles from the historic Pittsboro courthouse.
This property will become the future home of the Academy’s permanent campus ensuring long-term stability while maintaining the close-knit, academically rigorous environment that defines HRCA.
The new campus will support continued enrollment growth and allow the school to broaden its offerings, welcoming even more families seeking a Christ-centered, classical education.
