Preparing Students for Adulthood, Calling, and Faithful Living
High school is about more than graduation.
Parents want their students to step into adulthood with wisdom, confidence, and a faith that is steady in the real world.
At Haw River Christian Academy, our Rhetoric School (grades 9–12) provides a Christ-centered, classical education that prepares students to communicate clearly, think deeply, and live faithfully as they enter college and beyond.
The Final Stage of the Classical Journey
Rhetoric School is the culmination of a classical Christian education.
In these years, students begin bringing together everything they have learned, not only to understand ideas but to express them with maturity, clarity, and purpose.
This is a season of growth where students are formed to engage the world thoughtfully and step forward with confidence.
Forming Young Adults with Wisdom and Character

A Faith That Lasts Beyond Graduation
As students prepare for adulthood, they need more than information. Students study Scripture as one unified story from Genesis to Revelation, revisiting it throughout their years at Haw River.
They need a faith that is rooted, thoughtful, and lived.
At Haw River, biblical truth continues to shape every subject and every season of learning, helping students develop:
- Discernment and wisdom
- Confidence grounded in Christ
- A worldview shaped by Scripture
- Courage to live faithfully in a complex world
Our desire is for graduates to carry their faith with them, not leave it behind.

We could not be happier to have our children educated in a Classical Christian School. It has been one of the best decisions and investments we have made for our children.
Our children are thriving academically and enjoy going to school each day. It is our hope that residents of Chatham County take full advantage of the opportunity that HRCA presents to their families!
We have watched our children grow into mature, well spoken, respectful and well rounded individuals who love the Lord. Our children are thriving at HRCA through the love, support and genuine desires from the staff.
One of the best decisions Christian parents can make is to enter into the covenant relationship that blesses and empowers their children with a classical Christian education.
HRCA students can reason well, work hard, and communicate clearly. Students are taught by well-educated teachers who genuinely care for each student and their well-being.
