Creativity and Excellence
Through the Performing Arts

Performing arts offer students a meaningful way to grow in confidence, creativity, and expression.

At Haw River Christian Academy, our drama program provides opportunities for students to pursue excellence, work together, and contribute to a joyful Spring production each year.

A Place for Students to Create and Grow

The performing arts are about more than being on stage.
They are a space where students learn to:

Whether acting, designing, building, or supporting behind the scenes, every student has a role to play.

Drama Club at Haw River

Our drama club meets after school and gives students the chance to learn and participate in live theater throughout the year.

Each Spring, students come together to present a well-known play or musical that is thoughtful, uplifting, and meaningful for the entire community.
Students may participate through:

This experience encourages both creativity and excellence while building friendships and confidence.

Supported by Families and the Local Community

One of the most special parts of performing arts at Haw River is the way families and community members come alongside our students.

Parents, volunteers, and supporters play an important role in helping productions come to life, making the Spring performance a highlight of the school year.

Tickets typically become available about one month before the Spring performances.
Each production includes:

Friday Evening Dinner & Show

We could not be happier to have our children educated in a Classical Christian School. It has been one of the best decisions and investments we have made for our children.

Steve & Suzanne Jones, Teacher + College Counselor | Parents of a 2nd, 7th + 2025 Graduate

Our children are thriving academically and enjoy going to school each day. It is our hope that residents of Chatham County take full advantage of the opportunity that HRCA presents to their families!

Keith Smothers & Evelien Van Ekert, Parents of a 6th and 9th grader

We have watched our children grow into mature, well spoken, respectful and well rounded individuals who love the Lord. Our children are thriving at HRCA through the love, support and genuine desires from the staff.

Matt & Jennifer Cashion, Parents of a 3rd, 8th, and 9th grader

One of the best decisions Christian parents can make is to enter into the covenant relationship that blesses and empowers their children with a classical Christian education.

Dr. Tripp Harmon, Teacher & Parent of a 12th Grader
