Families are an essential part of the life of the school, and we believe education is strongest when home, church, and school work together.

The Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF)
What is the PTF?
The Parent Teacher Fellowship is an important part of Haw River Christian Academy. This dedicated group of parents generously offers their time and talents by supporting the school through prayer, volunteerism, and service.
The PTF strengthens our community and helps create a school culture where students, families, and staff are cared for and encouraged.
How We Support Haw River
The PTF plays a meaningful role in school life through a variety of efforts:
- Coordinating school events and activities
- Serving the weekly lunch program
- Strengthening the school's presence in the community
- Blessing our staff through appreciation gifts and support
- Helping meet curricular or campus needs
- Encouraging school spirit and connection
Parents often find that involvement through the PTF is one of the best ways to build relationships and contribute to the life of the school.

Uniforms
In a culture where personal expression is exalted, beauty is held in question, and the good of our neighbor is subordinated to the desires of the individual, it is the desire of HRCA to glorify God in both the character and culture of the school. The purpose of the school uniform is to foster a sense of unity among the students, to provide a consistently attractive and neat appearance for all students, to avoid peer pressure in matters of dress, and to draw less attention to oneself. Please refer to the Parent Student Handbook for specific information regarding our uniform code.
